Many popular persons – men and women were very obsessed with betting. Yes, we call it today they are and were gambling addicted. But if addictions are killing us, what we have been doing if we did not have them? It is an interesting question. Some of them have escaped from the reality, other wanted to win, third was in the hands of faith and God.

For me, sports betting is a special ritual. It is kind of adrenalin that makes all your cells shiver and shake. It is like drugs. You know they are killing you deep inside, but you love taking them. Sports, it does not matter if we speak about football, tennis or basketball is another universe. Sports is the dynamics in numbers in outcomes and many different odds – decimal,UK, Hong Kong and American. It is an arena of possibilities to earn or lost a huge pile of money.

I would like to know what are your reasons to make a bet? What passion and inner voices you have? Why is gambling a phenomenon?

I have to apologize to you, because I did not have time to sit and write new post on the blog. Sometimes the times is most precious source and value in the dynamic life , we do live in. When the time and the sun are missing, the inspiration does not knock at your door :). Today is a good day and my inspiration is sitting patiently next to me and we are drinking our first coffee for the day.

It was not long ago, when I received a strange envelope in my mail box. I came  back from work and saw that mysterious envelope. I sat and put it on the table, started gazing at it, wondering, who might sent me this huge , white envelope from Sweden. The address in Stockholm was unknown for me. I did not have friends from the interesting destination in Europe. Maybe it was some football fan or a member of a fan club, who just wanted me to join them. There were too many questions and great fever. My blood was boiling and my brain was painting many and feverish pictures.

I had opened the envelope and there were only three names written on it – ” Monet, Casanova and Dostoevsky “. Was this some kind of a joke? What could be the common thing with me and between these three marvelous geniuses in their areas and spheres? I sat and did not know what to think. I was shocked . Maybe a little bit disappointed , but this was a quiz a problem, which needed my time and sharp brain.  I smiled and I said to me, that the problem will be soon solved.

1. Claud Monet – a honorable french painter. The creator of impessionism . A genius that left many masterpieces and pictures , which makes us think about different things and provokes us, from the first time we heard about him or saw , what his talents had created. But what could be the relation between him and the other 2 ones in the mysterious note? There was one little thing , that probably few of us, had known before. He won around 13k $ in a lottery, quit his current job and devoted himself to painting. Lottery and talent, I was on the right way. Can you ask yourself the question, what would have  happened if this winning ticket was not in the hands of this genius?
2. Casanova – probably all of you, know about him more then me. Probably you have heard all the rumors , about his heart breaking stories, about the power he had among women. Probably, you are aware that he was that intelligent that even, men fell in love with him. Probably you had heard that he was a brilliant lawyer , mathematician, master of great speeches and mystic person, who wanted to find answers to quite a lot of questions. But did you know that he played all the well – known games of chance by that time. He had a passion in betting , as in love , speech making and devoting himself to the mysteries of the unknown. He had a soul and a brain, which never wanted to stay in one place . Maybe betting and gambling gave him a lot, we can only doubt and have a great guesses.
3. Dostoevsky – he is one of the best writers, I had ever met in my life. He was and he is inspiration for millions. I was in very special situations , while I was reading his books. I was only thinking of reading 10-20 pages, but I was all in the scenes and action, that after few hours, half of the book was gone. One of his best books, the masterpiece for all times is “The Gambler“. He was the easiest part of solving the quiz. Even if you have not played roulette, while reading this book, you will fell all the emotions, you will see the world trough the eyes of the gambler, you will feel too much and maybe it will turn upside down your inner world. This book is like a volcano, like an earth quake , like cunami. I recommend you to read it, if you have not been done this so far. The truth is that Dostoevsky was addicted to a french roulette, he was taking money in advance for writing his new books and most of the times, he had lost what he had taken. But he took and had great inspiration , while he was on the roulette table. Immense talent and immense addiction. If he was not playing that much the game with the ball and “magic”number, would we us so lucky to read all this masterpieces left for generations ahead? All the answers, I leave to you my dear readers.

After 2 weeks I solved the problem. These 3 magnificent people, these geniuses loved to play , to be a part of the betting world. First one- won and stopped, the other one was searching answers , while exploring different games and people around the tables, Dostoevsky– got inspiration , but unfortunately was too addicted( passion has to be controlled if not, there is always someone who can help you). When you have a big talent, you always want to improve it and to give it different horizons, in order to be better, to get higher and to see and learn more. Thank you, Mr. Green for giving me such quiz. Thank you , that you made me a talent hunter for a couple of weeks, this time was wonderful. Maybe you, yes you do have some talent, which you would like to reveal and show to Mr. Green. Have you ever though how many times a day you are counting something? Counting the steps from your parked car to the shop. Counting sheep , when you are not able to sleep after midnight. Counting the minutes, while you are waiting your girlfriend to come on the date. Yes, it is all about numbers and figures and the magical content they have inside them.

Just think to yourself,that every action , every moment on Earth is connected with numbers. It is like a big matrix, we are all in, every single one of us is a micro space of this matrix, with its own elements – starting from 0 to 9 🙂 We count and estimate the years, the seconds, the hours the times we fell in love, we count the number of flowers we gave to our most beloved ones. This is what we are doing, we are addicted to numbers…

Numbers and addiction, take our hands and minds and put us in the ship of development. We start crossing oceans, seas , lakes, rivers etc. We are travelling the world of our imagination and inner spirit, in order to find answers to some of our questions, which did not let us sleep normally at night. Men and women, want to explain to them selves how and why everything is made this way and why some things are happening in any or another sequence.

I might sound too abstract for you today, but this are the first lines of a picture . I guess one very good example, of how I discovered and started to explore one game. A game which is ancient as the world. A game that explains everything and is also mystic like a woman, you like to know more and more, but she is pushing you away, every time you come closer.  This is the game that combines : the routine of a poker player, the smart brains of a chess master and some kind of great touch to maths and stats.

Most of you have come to the decision that I am speaking and will be speaking about roulette- the magic reel. When I speak about roulette , I am think in my mind like one of the biggest mathematical problem in the Universe.
